Petroscience AS was founded in 2012 based on the long experience from staff working at Logtek AS. Petroscience focuses on providing petrophysical services while increasing the value and reducing the cost of studies needed for E&P projects. 

Our staff includes geologists, petrophysicist and petroleum engineers with over 100 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry. We are recognized experts within log, core, pressure and data analysis, as well as data management. We supplement our in-house capabilities with outside consulting associates.

Petroscience is acting as the petrophysical department for many operators (small or medium companies in Norway) with experienced personnel that can step in and start the preparation and plan a cost effective logging program, prior to the drilling operations.

In addition we can step in 24/7 (on-duty) as the drilling activities occur; when the drilling activities reach the reservoir or are close to it. Petroscience provides this service to many oil companies that are not operators on a drilling activity (partners). Quick Look interpretation will be provided to the operational team shortly after Real-time data has arrived to the surface.
